Projects - Ionic CFL Lamp range, removes air pollutants

Project Brief: Develop a lamp that ionizes the air around it to remove air pollutants such as pollen, dust, smoke, spores, cooking and pet odours. An ionizer wave emitter was mounted into a CFL lamp. The ionizer emits a negative charge which attaches to air-borne pollutants which are positively charged. This causes the air pollutants to become too heavy to float and then fall to the floor.
Target Market: Consumers suffering from allergies and breathing difficulties.
Market Distribution: Supermarkets, on-line stores, TV channels.
Project Date: 2009.
